Honesty is one of my favourite flowers, and the inspiration for this print came from the abundance of them in the beautiful garden of Charleston Trust, in Firle, not far from where I live. I love their papery seed pods, and peeling them to reveal their transluscent moon faces is very satisfying! Here I've tried to replcate their graceful lines and simple shapes in this original linocut print.
